Our mission
Bodhi Institute of Compassion and Wisdom – New York was founded in 2013 to help people study and practice Buddhism in a systematic way, following the teachings of experienced masters. All of our courses are free and start from the basics, so anyone can begin.
What we do
- Structured Buddhist study programs, from introductory to advanced levels, held in person in New York and online.
- Free courses, lecture texts, books, audio, and video on this website, available to the public.
- Community activities, including group practice, ceremonies, reading groups, and outings.
Most of our content is in Chinese.
